Varna (sanskr. varna, वर्ण - krāsa) - sabiedrības pamatkārta senajā Indijas pussalas civilizācijā, kas radās līdz ar indoāriešu civilizācijas veidošanos un sabiedrības struktūras sarežģītības palielināšanos. Piederību pie varnas noteica indivīda sociālā un etniskā izcelsme. Kopā bija 4 varnas:

I g.tk.p.m.ē. sākās varnu tranformācija kastu sistēmā.
